Batch Notice Board
The institute for the benefit of its students maintains a Batch Notice on www.bioinformaticscentre.org . It is compulsory for all students to visit the Batch Notice Board from time to time.
Evaluation and Assessment Procedure
Examination and assessment is done on the basis of
a) Compulsory Assignments
b) Final Examination to be held in November 2006
Examination notification and examination form will be dispatched in December 2005
Failure in Submitted Assignments
If a candidate fails in one or more papers in the year end exam, he/she can appear for those papers only in subsequent exams for next batch. Students not clearing their exams in November 2006 will have to reregister in the next session.
Electronic Self Evaluation Workbooks
Facility of continuous self-evaluation is a unique feature of this program. We will be providing electronic self-evaluation workbooks on all the modules. Self-evaluation workbooks can be downloaded from the download section on the Batch Notice Board of our website.
Assignment Workbooks
Assignment workbook for all the modules will be issued in the month of November. The students have to submit solved assignments back to the Institute.
Audio Visual Lectures
The Institute is preparing a set of audio-visual lectures for all the modules. They are essentially meant for Corporate Trainings. However, they will be provided to the students at a very nominal cost.
One such set of lectures is available for Clinical Trials. It can be obtained at a processing and postage fee of Rs. 250/USD 25 only.
BII Education Network (BIIEDNET)
BII Education Network (BIIEDNET) - is an open interactive knowledge platform
for you. It is meant to be a platform "Of the Participants, for the
Participants by BII". BIIEDNET will provide the following facilities:
- Knowledge interchange and exchange among the users.
- Web based resources.
- Information sharing on jobs, events etc.
- Other activities of mutual interest among the users.
So, through this Synchronous Discussions - computer mediated communication
(CMC) students are able to communicate with other students of the Institute
to share news, views, comments and opportunities in the domain area.
The BII Education Network (BIIEDNET) is available on Batch Notice Board on
our website. The link is http://www.bii.in/biiednet. All students can login
with their Roll no. as user ID and their date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy) as
password.
Placement Service
Several Pharma Companies have shown their interest in hiring PG Diploma in Pharma Regulatory Affairs students. Once the program is complete, the interested candidates can send their resumes, which will be circulated to such Pharma companies.
