Dispatch Details

This dispatch is being issued only to those student who have submitted both 1st and 2nd semester fee.

First semester assignment has been dispatched for the following papers of the program.

  • Patents & IPR for Biotech Industry
  • Finance for Biotechnology Industry
  • Emerging Areas of Biotech Industry I: Bioinformatics
Examination and Assessment

Assessment is a continuous process for PG Diploma in Biotechnology Business Management Distance Learning Program. The students are assessed through Compulsory Assignments, Research Study, Industry Project & Exams.

  • Assessment for Semester - I:
    Compulsory Assignments, Research Study-I Submission

  • Assessment for Semester - II:
    Compulsory Assignments, Exams

  • Assessment for Semester - III:
    Project Submission, Research Study II Submission

Examination notification and examination form will be dispatched to you.

Submission of compulsory assignments is to be done before written examination.
No electronic submission will be accepted. Submit the assignment through post/courier.


Change in the choice of optional paper

This is to state that the paper of Biotechnology Products & Equipments falling under category of optional paper is being removed and put in the list of core papers for second semester covering syllabus of Biotechnology Product Management

Candidate who have opted for Biotechnology Products & Equipments as optional paper are given a choice of another optional papers. You can select one from the following

  • Biotechnology Basics
  • Recombinant DNA Technology
  • Contract Reasearch
  • Advanced Biotechniques
  • Biotechnology Resources

Failure in Examination

If a candidate fails in one or more papers in the written exam, he/she can appear for those papers only in subsequent exams for next batch. Students not clearing their exams in April 2006 can appear in November 2006 exams. Students who are not able to clear all the papers and industrial project by November 2006 will have to re-register for the next session.
