As the objectives were diverse with a large no. of expected visitors (individual and from companies) pre participation activities started at BII Noida office fairly early. The layout for BII stall was designed in advance at the corporate office itself. The design was prepared keeping in mind that a clear picture about the business and achievements of BII should be available to the visitors in a glimpse.

The design was converted into reality at the BangaloreIT.com site itself. The achievement came only after a long late night effort made by Hemant, Gaurav and Ram Murti Mishra of BII. This was what the BII stall looked finally.

BII stall was visited by a large no. of individual and company visitors. Many overseas visitors showed keen interest in the BII activities.

The outcome

The BII participation was highly successful as BII could finalize its study centres in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. BII could also create significant awareness about Bioinformatics in the visitors. The international participants also acquired insights about the countries capabilities in Bioinformatics through BII. Following the participation BII is also on a lookout for starting its activities in Colombo and Singapore.
