About BIIEDNET
BII Education Network (BIIEDNET) - is an open interactive knowledge platform for you. It is meant to be a platform "Of the Participants, for the Participants by BII"
BIIEDNET will provide the following facilities
1) Knowledge Interchange and Exchange among the users
2) Web Based Resources
3) Information Sharing on Jobs, Events etc
4) Other Activities of mutual interest among the users
BIIEDNET Zones
BIIEDNET is divided into following two zones
Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Biomedical/Agri
Pharma/IPR
These zones may have further category classifications
Who Are Eligible for BIIEDNET
All individuals who have joined BII Distance Learning and classroom programs are eligible to participate on BIIEDNET. Other subscribers to BII services such as BII Journal subscribers , Corporate training kit purchasers etc are also eligible. BIIEDNET service is also available to general public at a nominal subscription. If you wish to join BIIEDNET you can contact us at info@bioinformaticscentre.org
Eligible BIIEDNET participants can participate on any of the BIIEDNET zones.

Guidelines for Participating on BIIEDNET
While taking participating on BIIEDNET the particiapants must adhere to following rules.
1.. The essential purpose of the BIIEDNET is to share news, views, comments and opportunities relevant to the BIIEDNET zone.
2.. This is not meant to discuss problems / program related issues. Any individual problem about the program is to be sent via e-mail to the relevant email id of your program.
3.. No one will use harsh language; engage in belittling of his/her fellow participants. They must keep their comments relevant to topics or issues in the domain areas of the programs.
If a student violates any of above rules, disciplinary action can be taken against him/her.
